Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli is still Juventus main priority this summer. According to the Italian press, Juventus will make a firm offer to Sassuolo in the coming days.
Juventus are waiting patiently for Locatelli. According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the player has said yes to Juventus. Now there is just the most difficult bit left: the agreement between the club from Turin and Sassuolo, Locatelli’s parent club.
Both clubs have met before to talk about Locatelli. According to the information provided by Di Marzio, there will be another meeting this Friday.
It is expected that in the coming days, Juventus will make a firm offer for Sassuolo. They will ask for 40 million euros for him.
Juventus, however, have another plan in mind. Their plan is to have him on loan for several seasons with the option to buy him. This option will be activated automatically if Locatelli meets a series of objectives.
Up to now, Sassuolo have been clear. They are not thinking of letting Locatelli leave for less than 40 million. Now it remains to be seen whether the offer Juventus make reaches that amount.
