Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward delivered his verdict after the Whites completed their first major addition of the window.
They confirmed the arrival of Junior Firpo from Barcelona last week on a three-year deal.
The Yorkshire Evening Post‘s Graham Smyth reported on 8 July Victor Leeds have now turned their attention to signing a midfielder.
It is reported that Victor Orta has already held discussions with an unnamed player about moving to Elland Road.
But Agbonlahor has suggested their priorities should be elsewhere.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “For me, I would probably go for another right-back, just as cover.
“And also another striker. Bamford has been outstanding but I’d bring in another striker to help him get to the next level. When you’ve got pressure on you, you can perform better.
“I’d go for a striker, another right-back and maybe another attacking midfielder, another number 10.
“Where they finished last season, Leeds will be over the moon with. But I can tell Bielsa is the sort of manager who will want to do better. He won’t want to just stay up.
“If he can find the right players to bring in, then he will do.”
A new right-back would be a surprise move for Leeds given Luke Ayling’s fine form last season.
He started all of the Whites Premier League games and was on the fringes of Gareth Southgate’s England squad earlier this year.
