According to ‘Bild’, the London club are willing to offer Borussia Dortmund up to 175 million euros for their star.
Due to the great uncertainty over the futures of the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Leo Messi, Erling Haaland’s future seems to have taken a back seat.
On the agenda of all the big European clubs, Borussia Dortmund, who got hold of Jadon Sancho a few weeks back, does not seem willing to lose their other big star this very summer.
The latest information says that the Bundesliga side have sent a warning to other clubs by offering more than 160 million euros for the Norwegian. An amount which, seeing how the market is up to now, will surely disuade all interested parties. But one team are willing to pay that and more.
According to ‘Bild’, Chelsea, who are in pole position in the race for the striker, seem to be going all out to get hold of the Dortmund attacker.
The information from the cited media outlet says that Chelsea are studying offering up to 175 million euros in the summer transfer market. An amount which is basically too good to turn down and that would satisfy Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc’s demands.
Such offer, if it comes off, could be enough to persuade the Bundesliga outfit and that would bolster the Chelsea attack. Despite winning the Champions League last term, they are sometimes very wasteful in front of goal.
This problem would be more than solved with the signing of an Erling Haaland who, after shining at Red Bull Salzburg, has kept on scoring in Germany: he has scored 57 goals and given 12 assists in 59 matches at the Westfalenstadion.
