Man Utd want to bolster the defence and not by signing anyone: they are going after Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane and for Atletico right back Kieran Trippier.
For them, according to ‘The Sun’, the English side have set aside almost 80 million euros to give to Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
In England they are practically taking for granted two signings. ‘The Sun’ say that Varane and Trippier will end up at Man Utd.
The British paper are convinced and they say that the agreements have “almost been reached.” What is more, they say that the signings could be announced at the back end of next week.
To get hold of Real Madrid’s Varane and Atletico’s Trippier, Man Utd will spend around 79 million euros. 58 million will go to Real for the centre-back while 21 will go to Atletico for the full-back.
At Old Trafford they are convinced that they will be able to welcome these two footballers soon. They will be, without doubt two reinforcements for the Red Devils.
‘The Sun’ says that Real Madrid wanted to get around 70 million euros for Varane. However, forced to negotiate, Man Utd have managed to persuade them to accept 58 million.
With respect to Trippier, the paper says that the agreement with Atletico is almost done. He will therefore return to the Premier League.
